Citizenship Education
Many in our community are unfamiliar with employment, economic, and social processes that would enable them to integrate into the larger US society.
We help them get access to socio-economic and political resources by:
-
Coaching our community in worker rights, immigration, finance, health, and life skills
-
providing workshops and one-on-one meetings with relevant professionals.
-
-
Boosting civic engagement
-
providing classes in US history, citizenship, and associated responsibilities, such as voting.
-
-
Bringing South Asian issues to the wider public
-
Holding events that forefront and connect our diverse cultures: music, dance and cuisines.
-
Our Mission
To help the South Asian women and the other minority communities thrive by connecting to each other and to the available resources.
