Health Equity

Health equity is important to our community to counteract attitudes toward health, particularly mental health, and vaccination processes.

 

We find out health concerns in our community through:

• Addressing the social determinants of health within our healthcare system
   

  • Many factors, such as race, ethnicity, income, sexual orientation  influence health outcomes. We bring in health practitioners to address these issues through workshops and conversations.​

​

• The Vaccine equity initiative project
   

  • We provide communities in our neighborhoods with access to vaccinations through mobile and other nearby clinics.​
